272 days to live.
still ALIVE
and things just keep getting
wilder and wilder.
I love life!
How cool it is to
witness the unfolding!
Intentions for living a full life:
Dance, dance, dance,
witness, wonder, rewild,
express, connect, just be,
love, love, love.
staying OPEN
to life and love,
even with all the heartbreaks,
has always been one of my superpowers.
New superpowers have been activated:
Wisdom, discernment,
using my voice, walking away,
taking care of self rather than
people-pleasing.
I will not abandon
or betray myself anymore,
I will choose me every time.
me, BEAUTIFUL woman,
I love being a woman,
soft, sensual, supported,
playful and deep,
open and insightful,
graceful and powerful,
gentle and fierce,
wild and free,
illuminating,
intelligent,
intuitive.
I am supported.
I am supported.
I am supported.
just MOVE,
and keep becoming
my newest, now-est self.
One of the first things I think about
in the morning is,
“Where am I going to dance today?”
Love of my life; the best
healthy habit I’ve ever formed;
the most intimate, freeing,
powerful form of meditation I know:
Dancing makes everything more fun!
I am going to keep getting
freer and freer
as I continue tuning into
the wisdom of my own body.
thank you, BODY,
for all you do to protect me,
carry me, allow me to move and play
and rest and heal.
Thank you, body,
for bringing me this far —
We’ve been through so much
and no matter where the mind goes,
you are always present, waiting, ready,
to receive my attention and
tender, loving care.
Slow down,
there’s no rush,
take your time.
I am free.
I am free.
I am free.
LOVED abundantly —
Once we can stop grasping
for more love, we can see how much
love we have received in our lives —
from humans, animals, nature, Spirit.
Once we can stop wanting more love,
we can become aware that there is an
infinite source of love within
ourselves, and others.
Peel back the layers,
and let it flow.
LOVING yourself, abundantly,
all parts of yourself,
is necessary to find inner peace.
Keep flowing,
keep being in the process,
keep playing.
Let joy be your resistance,
Let peace be your protest,
Let love be your dissent.
I am love.
I am love.
I am love.
“Protest that endures, I think, is moved by a hope far more modest than that of public success: namely, the hope of preserving qualities in one’s own heart and spirit that would be destroyed by acquiescence.” ~Wendell Berry
Rather than writing a fresh, longer prose piece, I decided to make a poem out of all my journal entries from the month of March. Hope you enjoyed.

May you be free,
May you be whole,
May you be peaceful,
